My food is designed and made to make you feel nourished, held and hugged. Nourishing, tasty and family-friendly meals, made with doula love and nutritionally appropriate for pregnancy and the postpartum period such as stews, Dahls and light curries. Nutrient dense, rich in iron, rich fats and proteins - from both veggie and animal sources - and enriched with veggie, meat or bone broth.
My passion and pull around caring and loving through food is rooted in my Portuguese background. I grew up in a coastal town just south of Lisbon, and some of my best memories of home revolve around food - fresh simply seasoned salads with grilled fish by the ocean with a crisp white wine, rich meat stews on cold winter Sundays at my grandmas, platters of seafood in the summer at a classic marisqueira, salted cod with a corn bread crust and roasted potatoes, grilled black pork with bread migas, juicy tomatoes with olive oil and oregano, sweet cucumbers, peas and fava beans in the pod, pastéis de nata with a single espresso coffee, the list could go on and on.
I focus on diversity, colour and taste. From soups, snacks, easy add-ons to your other meals. Everything I cook has elements of my home influences and elements of my travels and my studies around foods that can soothe your body, mind and soul - and I do believe you can taste the love and intention put into food. My main intention is to offer meals that can heal the mother/birthing person but also be enjoyed by everyone in the family, at any stage.
I also love being the channel between families and their loved ones. If you want to nourish your friends and family when they are going through pregnancy, postpartum or parenthood, but don't have the time or simply don't know where to start, I can help you to offer them a delicious bundle of food.
WHAT YOU CAN ORDER
I try to make the soups focusing on the seasons. I normally add pulses and broth to make them even more nourishing and filling for when you need the boost of energy without compromising the veg-rich meals. Sometimes they can have the warmth of fresh ginger and turmeric, sometimes they might be fragrant and creamy with herbs and greens.

SEASONAL SOUP
Most of the meals I cook are enriched with homemade broth. But if you want to have the extra nourishment ready to use in your home I can cook it specially for you to sip, freeze or add to your own meals. Slow-cooked veggie, chicken or bone broth enriched with ginger, turmeric, peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, rosemary, thyme and mint.

MAIN MEALS
ROASTED TOMATO AND VEGGIES SAUCE
Perfect for days when you need a ready-made sauce that is both tasty and nutrient dense. Made with roasted tomatoes, garlic, carrots, courgette and leek. and basil. And then slow-cooked with high quality tomato passata and fresh basil. You can simply mix it with some pasta, add it to your stews or freeze it in small portions for later.

Think chai latte in a granola bowl. The turmeric gives this granola a gorgeous golden colour and a wonderful warm taste, paired with spices like cinnamon, ginger and cardamom and enriched with a mix of different seeds and nuts for extra nutrition.

DATE AND TAHINI FLAPJACKS
Gooey on the inside and golden on the outside, these flapjacks are the perfect snack for when you are sleep deprived, tired and/or breastfeeding. Made with non-GF oats, a seed mix, nuts and dates and enriched with velvety tahini and honey.
